Five nominees have been selected for both the women's and men's categories based purely on performances achieved throughout the month of March with the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Kujawy Pomorze having the biggest bearing on the shortlists.

The voting closes at 11.59pm CET on 8 April and the winners will be announced across the European Athletics social media channels on 10 April.
Last month’s winners were Great Britain’s Keely Hodgkinson and Greece’s Emmanouil Karalis. Hodgkinson smashed the long-standing world indoor 800m record with 1:54.87 in Lievin while Karalis vaulted to second on the world all-time list with a 6.17m clearance at the Greek Indoor Championships in Athens.
