With just under a year to go before the track is decked out for the occasion, fans have taken the first step and begun purchasing tickets that will allow them to be part of what is expected to be a memorable event. In fact, if we break down ticket sales by day—keeping in mind that the 50% sold figure is the sum of all those different days—some days have far exceeded that quota. More than 80% of tickets in the Premium sections have been sold for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoons, and sales have exceeded 90% in Section B, while Section E is at 96% sold for Sunday afternoon.
