Austrian 100m record holder Markus Fuchs will compete outdoors at home for the first time this season at the Liese Prokop Memorial, a World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze meet, on Thursday (4) live on European Athletics’ YouTube channel.
He’s joined by Karin Strametz who has 10 national titles to her name, however she’ll be facing European U23 champion Karolina Manasova from Czechia, and Rebekka Haase, who has taken medals in the relay at all major championships for Germany, in the 100m on Thursday.
The men’s discus will see Germany’s Marius Karges, a European U23 silver and bronze medallist and former world U20 champion, look to set another competition over 60m as he targets the Birmingham 2026 European Athletics Championships.

While Slovenia’s Anita Horvat, a bronze and silver medallist at European indoors, will contest in the 800m as she builds towards dipping under two minutes for the first time this year.
Belgium’s Elie Bacari, a European U23 bronze medallist, will continue his outdoor season after running the 110m hurdles for the first time this year in Brusells in 13.48.
In the long hurdles Sara Mato, Hungary’s world university games two-time bronze medallist and former European U20 silver medallist, will race over the 400m hurdles for the second time this season after running 56.12 on 24 May.

Then in the men’s triple jump Necati Er, an Olympic finalist, will be competing as he aims to get closer to 17m again after jumping 16.37m in his outdoor season opener.
