The Filothei Women’s Gala returns with world bronze medallist Angelina Topic headlining the World Athletics Challenger Tour bronze meet on 3 June, live on the European Athletics website.
It will be Topic’s second competition of the outdoor season after clearing 1.94m at the Rabat Diamond League following a successful indoor season that saw her clear two 2.00m for the first time and take silver at the world indoor championships.
She has also won this meeting twice before but had to settle for second last year, jumping 1.94m in 2023 and 2024 then 1.95m in 2025 so will be looking to complete the three-peat.
However, it was Great Britain’s Morgan Lake who won last year, also clearing 2.00m for the first time last year in Zurich, and she will looking to take the win once more in her second competition of the year.

Greece’s Ekaterini Stefanidi, former Olympic, world, and European champion, also continues her comeback after giving birth in June 2025, having cleared a best of 4.37m this year in pole vault.
Stefanidi has also medalled at the last five editions of the European Athletics Championships, including gold in 2016 and 2018.
In the long jump Romania’s Alina Rotaru-Kottmann, a world bronze medallist, and Serbia’s Milica Gardasevic will go head-to-head yet again.
The pair have a 17-11 record to Gardasevic, although Rotaru-Kottmann has jumped further this year with a season’s best of 6.70m compared to the Serb’s 6.66m.
